摆渡修行A very good Kyoto Kaiseki restaurant. During lunch, they have 1800 yen sea bream tea rice. I thought there was only one bowl of rice, but then I found out there were super delicious appetizers and desserts. So happy.
The appetizer was hot minced meat eggplant, garnished with two green beans, and two glutinous potatoes hidden at the bottom of the bowl. The seasoning was very Japanese and a little warm.
The sea bream tea rice was served in a green porcelain bowl. The pink fish fillet lay obediently in sesame paste. The sesame paste was slightly salty, rich and delicious. Dip in a little mustard and eat it as sashimi first. Then pour hot soup and finish with tea rice. It is light and delicious. Their sea bream tea rice tastes so exquisite.
Finally, the apricot jelly jelly was served. The veins of the flesh were faintly visible in the transparent jelly. The taste was sweet, cool and sour.
I also ordered an extra tempura platter. The fresh wild vegetables from Kyoto were covered with a thin layer of batter, which made them crispy and delicious, not greasy and very refreshing.
